Kasingsing Beach
Kasingsing Beach is next to Tampad Beach and is great for picnics. It's near the Barangay center for food. Although it’s private, you can swim, but please clean up afterwards.
is a cave in Brgy. Hawan Grande, Virac, Catanduanes. It features a large chamber for over a hundred, with ceilings up to 100 feet. The cave has historical significance, serving as a shelter during typhoons and used by Japanese forces in WWII. Locals visit it during Holy Week. Accessible via a short trek, it's great for trekking and photography. Guests should bring proper lighting and follow "Leave No Trace" practices.


Little Batag Beach
Little Batag Beach, locally known as “Saday na Batag”, is in Barangay Batag, Virac, Catanduanes, just steps from Batag Beach, a tourist spot in the Province. It features fine white sand, clear water, and stunning rock formations. The steep cliffs offer a breathtaking view, and there's a cove ideal for photos. There’s a large “shoe-shaped” rock providing shade, with no man-made structures nearby, so visitors should bring their own tents, food, and camping gear as it’s a trek from the main road.Activities include picnics, Frisbee, hiking, bird-watching, and volleyball.Little Batag Beach remains unspoiled and is an untouched paradise.


Magnesia del Norte Beach
Don't forget your sunglasses and stylish attire when you head to Magnesia del Norte Beach, where the blazing sun illuminates the beach with its golden and white sands. It's a paradise for children who love the beach, as well as for those who enjoy swimming or simply relaxing in the sun. Since it is an underdeveloped area, you shouldn’t expect a lot of shops nearby; it’s best to bring your own food and drinks. Don’t forget your surfboard.




Magnesia del Sur Beach
It has fine sands and big waves. Kuripdas Surfing Spot and Fishing Lagoon in Magnesia del Sur is perfect for surfing and fishing. Be cautious of the weather, especially winds from the west. Bring your own food, as stores are limited. Magnesia del Sur Beach is less developed and frequently visited by tourists.
Mamangal Beach
Mamangal Beach is located in Barangay Balite, Virac, Catanduanes. With sunny shorelines, Mamangal Beach is becoming a top vacation spot with its blue waters and white sand. Its pristine beauty is carefully preserved by locals. The beachfront is lined with trees and fine white sands, ideal for swimming and snorkeling.This spot is perfect for skim boarding. Families spend weekends here, enjoying the white sands and shady trees, with amenities for swimmers. The beach is great for fun, relaxation, and weekend picnics.


Marilima Beach
Marilima Beach in Virac, Catanduanes boasts stunning white sands and a beautiful blue ocean. It is a lovely getaway where you can relax or enjoy nature. The beach is lined with coconut trees and features fine white sand and a clear blue sea. At low tide, it's great for skimboarding.


Museo de Catanduanes
Museo de Catanduanes is the island’s main museum, established by the Provincial Tourism Office to showcase the province’s historical and cultural legacy. Located on the 2nd floor of the Old Capitol Building in Barangay Sta. Elena, Virac, it was inaugurated on October 24, 2011. The museum displays photos of important events, local attire, religious artifacts, and memorabilia from the province’s past. It also serves as a venue for locals to showcase their talents and crafts, promoting tourism in Catanduanes. Don’t miss the chance to visit and discover fascinating facts about the province’s rich history and culture.




Prayer Mountain
Prayer Mountain is in Brgy. Bigaa, Virac, Catanduanes, maintained by JESUS REIGNS. It is a spiritual retreat open 24 hours. The site includes 2 mini caves and 1 medium cave with water. You'll need to trek to visit the grottos: Adulam and Jonas, plus a Water cave. They have fish ponds for Catfish and Tilapia and grow vegetables for sale. There are rules for visiting and overnight stays at Prayer Mountain.
Santo Domingo River
Santo Domingo River is a popular spot for locals to swim. Enjoy the refreshing cold waters, just a 10-15 minute ride from Virac Downtown. Have fun swimming! Located in Brgy. Sto. Domingo, Virac, Catanduanes. If you're without a vehicle, take a trike.


Shrine of the Holy Innocents
Monsignor Simon Peter G. Ignacio, HP, Founder and Director of the Shrine of the Holy Innocents creatively combined Biblical and Traditional Stations to offer a unique way of contemplating this beloved Catholic Devotion. “There are 24 tall crosses erected around the hill to mark the Stations of the Cross, carved by a local named Isabelo de Quiroz.


Talisoy Beach (Jesus' Face Beach)
Tampad Beach, also known as “Talisoy Beach”, is located in Brgy. Talisoy, Virac, Catanduanes, featuring fine coral sand and clear waters. There are a few cottages built by Brgy. Officials for income generation. This small area (150-300 meters) is ideal for exclusive parties or reunions. Tampad Beach is often mistaken for “Talisoy Beach” as it is near the barangay proper, but locals refer to it as Tampad. It is home to the “Jesus’ face” rock formation and is close to several other beaches.




Twin Rock Beach
Twin Rock Beach, also known as Igang Beach, is situated in the southwestern region of Catanduanes. It is recognized as one of the most renowned and well-developed resorts on the island. The coastline features creamy, fine sand set against a picturesque cove, offering a tranquil atmosphere. The resort derives its name from the breathtaking rock formation located just offshore. Undoubtedly, the most striking aspect of this resort is the presence of islets and rock structures that protrude just a few meters from the shoreline.
Virac Cathedral
The Church of the Immaculate Conception, known proudly as “Virac Cathedral”, stands as a remarkable testament to the unwavering faith of the Viracnons. It is an architectural treasure that continues to be cherished by both locals and visitors alike. Today, the Virac Cathedral has been masterfully revamped to echo the magnificent look and feel of the dome of St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome.
